What is Poaching?

Poaching is soliciting an auctionee for a contract of their submission or time  outside the confines of the auction house for reasons of sale or submission.  This robs the auctionee and the auction house of the sale. If you do not agree with or wish to be part of slave/sub/pet auctioning in secondlife, then please tp away from this venue.

Examples of Poaching Activity or behavior:

•Meeting an auctionee at the auction house and then asking them to meet you elsewhere.

•Directing an auctionee or potential auctionee not to sell.

•Standing at the landing point with the intention of trolling an auction house's patrons and visitors, in search of a Dominant or submissive

•Knowing an auctionee previous to their auction, and inviting them away for purposes that undermine their sale at the auction.

•An AUCTIONEE soliciting a patron to pay them outright for the contract or to collar them outside the confines of the auction system.

•Outright solicitation of an auctionee to come sell at another auction house.

•Outright soliciting an auctionee to serve You or take a collar without going through the proper auctioning channels.

•Purchasing a sub/slave's contract through an auction house and then extending it or making it permanent  (ie, permanently collaring an auctionee)  without going back through the auction house.

• Going up for auction at an auction house with the express purpose of advertising for another auction house.

•Purchasing a sub/slave with the express purpose of having them work at a competing auction house.

There are plenty of places to meet subs/slaves/pets who are not interested in auctioning. If your intentions are to meet someone at an auction house that you wish to collar without going through the auction house channels, then You are a potential poacher.

This is not intended to be a complete list of poaching behavior, only an informational standard.  If You are uncertain if your behavior is considered poaching, please stop the behavior and ask a member of auction staff.
